Happy Children Organization

Is an organisation founded in 2014 by Madam Maria after an initial encounter with tortured and caged children of many parts of Tanzania.

Many children are hugely under-resourced and neglected as a future of our nation, therefore Happy Children of Tanzania Organization works to support poor children and orphans in their basic needs including school fees, nutritions, clothings and advocating their rights in the lives of children countrywide.

 

Vision

The vision statement of the Organization shall be a world where children are responsible member of a community that enables them to fully enjoy their righta.

 

Mission

To harmonize efforts of all mandate/stakeholders to secure, protect and uphold the rights of all Tanzania children.

 

Objectives

The objectives of the organization are;

• To empower children's and women's matters related to healthcare by using preventative healthcare measures from the grassroots concepts.

• To advocate on policies, laws, strategies and outdated cultural believes and norms that undermine children's and women's rights.

• To raise awareness to the community on issues related to the rights of children in accessing healthcare services.

• To provide trainings to families in rural areas on issues related to family planning and early childhood development.

• To raise awareness to the community on issues concerning climate change particulalry on how to adapt to climate changes in collective responsibility between men and women.

Since our inception, we have just started a while with few children whom we are supporting them. Happy Children Tanzania Organization now aims to replicate, scale up and reach out to at least 100,000 more children over the next five years.
